Kevin Madden
Co-Founder and Managing Partner
Mr. Madden is an experienced and successful turnaround professional with over 20 years of experience investing in and building businesses. Prior to co-founding Saothair, Mr. Madden spent nearly a decade with KPS Capital Partners where he took an active role in 15 acquisitions across 5 platform investments that collectively resulted in over $1.7 billion in profits to investors and won back-to-back Buyouts magazine “Turnaround of the Year” and “Overall Deal of the Year” awards.
Mr. Madden began his career in the Global Industrials and Services group of Credit Suisse First Boston where he worked on a variety of capital markets and M&A transactions across a range of business sectors. Mr. Madden holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University.
Richard Lozyniak
Co-Founder and Operating Partner
Mr. Lozyniak has over two decades of experience transforming manufacturing businesses across a diverse range of end markets, serving as Chief Executive Officer of three highly successful portfolio companies under the ownership of KPS Capital Partners. Prior to co-founding Saothair, Mr. Lozyniak was CEO of North American Breweries, which received “Turnaround of the Year” and “Overall Deal of the Year” awards from Buyouts magazine.
Previously, Mr. Lozyniak was CEO of Bristol Compressors International and Blue Ridge Paper Products. Mr. Lozyniak began his career with GE Capital, serving in a variety of positions including Senior Vice President. Mr. Lozyniak received an M.B.A. from the William E Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
Delane Taylor
Managing Director – Portfolio Operations
Mr. Taylor is a Managing Director of Portfolio Operations at Saothair, having joined in 2025. Prior to joining Saothair, he spent 20 years associated with the portfolio companies of KPS Capital Partners, serving in interim Business Improvement and Operations roles, and as a Vice President of Portfolio Operations.
Previously, he spent 15 years in the automotive industry in various engineering and operations management roles with ITT/Continental Automotive, Dana Corp, and Toyota, as well as two years teaching through the NC State University Industrial Extension Service.
Mr. Taylor holds a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from Western Carolina University and an M.B.A. from Walden University.
Pam Samuels
Vice President
Ms. Samuels is a Vice President at Saothair, having joined in 2023. Prior to joining Saothair, she was a Vice President at B. Riley Securities, where she worked in the Restructuring Investment Banking Group, focusing on distressed M&A, capital raising and bankruptcy advisory across a variety of sectors. Ms. Samuels began her career as an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Business Recovery Services Group.
Ms. Samuels holds a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University.
Huy Nguyen
Senior Associate
Mr. Nguyen is a Senior Associate at Saothair, having joined in 2021. Prior to joining Saothair, Mr. Nguyen was an Investment Banking Associate at RBC Capital Markets in New York within the Industrial & Diversified Services coverage group, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions and capital raise transactions.
Mr. Nguyen holds a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College.
Sabina Vohra
Associate
Ms. Vohra is an Associate at Saothair, having joined in 2023. Prior to joining Saothair, she was an Investment Banking Analyst at Stifel Financial Corp. within the Aerospace & Defense coverage group, where she worked on M&A and capital raise transactions.
Ms. Vohra holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond.
